<p>Californian Hank Bachmeier, a true freshman, led Boise State to a 36-31 upset of Florida State in Tallahassee. He completed passes for 407 yards in the effort. He had offers from several Ivy League Schools, so there is a good chance he had the academics to get in.</p>
