Shaw wanted that same play: where the receiver started in motion back to the inside then cleaned the DE's clock to seal for the run,  but Harbaugh wouldn't budge on the price ,  so Stanford just ran half the play with Luck... but no crackback to spring him.  No wonder Luck kept audibling out of it.
