Field Hockey! Big on the East Coast, so let me explain. A bunch of women looking right at the ground, hunched over slightly to get in a better position to whack the ball. You get two women running at a good clip but with their heads down watching a ball on the ground. Since their heads are literally leading the way, it is all set up. Then Bamm! Their heads collide. Noggin v Noggin. Putting the hair up in a pony tail does very little to protect the head. It happens, and like in many sports wearing head gear is kind of uncool.
