Scarlett ran as hard as any back in any Stanford game I've ever seen. I was at the Astros awesome win tonight and could only catch snippets of our takedown of the Huskies on my phone. Saw a bunch of heart in this team. When Hattis went down, the young man who was "next up" filled in wih a massive block on the next play to allow Scarlett to battle his way into the endzone. An inspirational performance, but the team is decimated by injuries. I just don't know what can be reasonably expected the rest of the way. At this point I love this team no matter what. Tonight may not match the epic proportions of The Greatest Upset Ever, but it may provide a foundation for the players to visualize a bright future.
