One of those “little things” that helped the running game immensely last night was when he established the keeper on the read-option twice in the first quarter for big gains. They had to respect it for the rest of the game.

Very true. That probably was NOT expected by UW (It certainly was not expected by me!) and maybe made them adjust in an unplanned way. Always a good thing!

On one of those plays, the camera operator followed Scarlett for about 10 yards as he scampered to the left side.  Meanwhile, Mills was running around the right corner and up the sideline.  Very good fake.

I was going to mention that too.  And Scarlett played his role, there was plenty of pursuit.
