Colorado has the worst defense in the Pac-12. Though Stanford has the 2nd worst Offense, Stanford is probably better on Offense than Colorado is on Defense, and Stanford's Defense is better than Colorado's Offense. I don't think Stanford has a chance in Pullman or against Notre Dame, so for me, Colorado is a must win game to avoid a losing season.
Colorado plays at UCLA next week, and it's looking unlikely DTR QBs for UCLA. Even if Buffs win that game, I don't see them making a bowl game even with a win vs. Stanford. They get Washington and Utah to close the season. They might not be too motivated, or at least not as much as Stanford is.
