My understanding from private chats with two reporters who cover the LPGA & Q-school is that if Lee and/or turn pro that they would continue their education through graduation in June. I'm not OK with that. If they choose to leave school to go full-time on the LPGA that's a completely different story, but they shouldn't be allowed to compete professionally while their education is being funded by a scholarship.
Once they have turned pro, they will not be able to stay on scholarship. However, that doesn’t mean Stanford won’t pay for their schooling some way, somehow. It just won’t come from an athletic scholarship - that’s against NCAA rules.
