No problem giving the ball to Scarlett, but I agree that a pass makes no sense. The probability that a missed tackle or slip opens up the field to a touchdown is about equally low as the probability of a fluke play that results in a pick six. If you are not running a play designed to score, just take the knee or a run up the gut.

We are 1/5 converting third downs. Colorado is 5/8, including a couple on third and 10+.

What the hell was that on the kickoff return. Good chance it would have gone out of bounds. Wilson needs to have better awareness of where he is.
Then an unsportsmanlike penalty wipes out a nice Scarlett run.
