Uh, coach, you just lost a game 49-22 and you opponent finished you off with 24 unanswered points. Please define "close".
I think what he meant was that we were down 19-0 early, amd managed to close to 25-22 late in the third quarter.
If you say what happened during the rest of the game made that comment a bit of a stretch, I agree with you.
