I remember reading, and I believe it was on this board, a brief mention that there was a problem with the USC band in our house sometime during this decade. Stanford was going to ban them for the next game. Because their band has an ongoing record of never missing a road game, and it was now in jeopardy, their university president personally called Hennessy to change the decision. Anybody recall this, and have any info on what the transgression was?
