The Cardinal had better be ready to play Thursday. Believe it or not, the Tribe presents some serious matchup problems. Nathan Knight is a stud; nobody on this team can deal with him. He has been prone to taking himself out of games with foul trouble, but if he doesn't do that he will likely be the best player on the floor. Their other big is a transfer playing his first season; he was CAA player of the week last week. Their best perimeter shooter was a spot player last year. He's been great so far, but missed the OU game on Monday.
W&M was expecting to be quite good this year. They've been an outstanding offensive team for several years and had a veteran team due back. Then, Ms. "brobdingnagian" fired the popular long-time coach and the Tribe became very familiar with the 'transfer portal'. A credit to the new coaching staff for picking up the pieces and getting off to a nice start.
