Tongue in cheek the former, but humor aside it is the latter. I've been harping all fall about the lack of recruiting on defense. I think we have some late offers out to reinforce the defense, but I don't know about the probability of landing them or whether they are plan B kind of guys. I agree that if we want to get out of our current funk, the staff's resources should be focused on recruiting.
SamuelMcF has a good read on the team, so this comment is ominous:

Not sure if he is reflecting an informed concern that they might not return or just stating the obvious, which is that they are seniors and could graduate this year. and not come back I have not heard anything one way or another about them.
