I think the question is whether this season is seen as a one-off or if it is the culmination of a steady downward trend over the last three seasons. My concern is that Shaw sees 8 regular season wins last year as OK - that team had too much talent to only get 8 wins and no need to re-litigate that as some will likely disagree.
I hope Shaw makes changes, but I don't expect him to. Which also means I expect another season with no bowl game in 2020.
