"Well, there's so many other things to do in the Bay Area" is the common explanation for the declining interest. Well that may be true, but there are also 70% more people in the Bay Area than in 1970, that's a lot bigger market to draw from. From a share of market perspective, a sell out would be six tenths of one percent of the population. Our marketing efforts can't even get close to that six days a year. Ugh.
