UNC uses a mass-substitution technique of bringing in 5 new players about midway through the halves.  The combination of fresh legs and players who are used to playing together gives them a real boost, especially when that change happens in the second half against players that have already put in 60 minutes plus.

I think this is UNC's biggest advantage in the game. It's how they won the overtime College Cup game against us a few years ago: Dorrance rested his front line for the last ten+ minutes of regulation, gambling/depending on his defense to get them to overtime. Ratcliffe kept his in. UNC's better legs in overtime ended up winning it for them. If the game is close and we can't rest our starters much, this will increasingly favor UNC as the game goes on and especially if it goes into OT.
