In my case, avoiding standing in the rain for a couple of hours is wise, not wimpy.

I'm debating the Sunday choice.  I would have been in Stockton for the semis but there were no tickets available and the UoP site showed few seats at all so I figured there'd be no room..  But it looks like they put in extra bleachers, and some standing room.  In the rain, for the non-home team game, there were some empty seats.   It seems USC had a good contingent today, but I guess they'll be fewer Sunday.  But.... UoP actually wound up beating someone from their conference (they lost both games of their conf. tourney!) so they might have a crowd.

It kinda depends on the weather.  If the weather is iffy, I might choose soccer.
