I agree. However, that being said, any ref worth his or her salt has to
give a yellow for that (my brother is a state level soccer ref, and he would
say the ref should have noticed that, and booked her as well as the UCLA player
that showed him up earlier and kicked the ball away for delay of game).
Same with the obligatory yellow, for example,
if someone removes their jersey celebrating a goal. On the other hand,
got to love players backing up their talk (i.e. why we love Sherman so much).
To clarify, I actually don't think her celebration tonight after the second PK save (since it wasn't in an opponent's face)
would warrant a yellow. The fact that she taunted the UCLA player in her face is the difference for me at least.
