Don't Shaw and Ed have a pretty fractured relationship at this point after Christian's decision to sit the Sun Bowl (reportedly at Ed's behest) and Stanford's non-recruitment of one of the younger brothers (I can't recall if it was Luke or Dylan)?

Shaw taking pictures on the sideline with Christian and his family before the Panthers/49ers game this year
would seem, to me, to indicate otherwise.

If Christian sitting in the bowl game was ever an issue, I am sure it was probably water under the bridge after we won. As far as
recruiting Dylan or Luke, as Sam points out, we have typically only recruited one QB per cycle, and Mills was our guy early on for Dylan's class.
As far as Luke, he is a dual threat QB, so perhaps he wouldn't have been a fit with what we hope to do schematically on offense?
