USC was a major missed opportunity for a win vs. an RPI top 50 team.
Stanford is currently 1-3 vs. top 50. Victory over Oklahoma, losses to USC, Kansas and Butler.
Stanford only plays USC once during the regular season so no 2nd chance unless the teams meet in the P12 tournament. The only other top 50 teams on the schedule are home-and-home vs. Oregon, Arizona and Colorado. The record in those 6 games could really help or hurt Stanford's NCAA chances.
