Oregon has beaten great teams by a lot more than 8 points, so it was a good loss.  Which is sometimes important to selection committees.

It may be hard to accept, but the current Oregon roster is capable of a better team game than the available Stanford roster.

Hopefully Stanford will see them 2 more times this year.
