Just focusing on Sabally, with commentary on what happened leading to her shot or rebound.
1Q 9:22 Sabally's rebound was because Nadia ignored her rather than blocking her out.
1Q 9:13 Sabally's open 3ptr was because Lacie & Nadia both raced over to pick up an open Ionescu on the other side, leaving Sabally unguarded. (Lacie had gotten out of position by trying to pick off a pass.)
1Q 8:19 Sabally missed 7' when guarded by Lacie & doubled by Nadia.
1Q 3:09 Sabally missed 5' in lane when guarded by Nadia.
1Q 2:38 Sabally grabs & throws Jerome out of the way on an inbound play. Jerome gets called for a maybe-brush on the shooter's arm.
1Q 1:30 Sabally cherry picked on a Stanford fast break attempt. No one on Stanford recognized this, resulting in an easy layup, compounded by a foolish foul by Belibi
1Q 0:14 Sabally misses a long 3 over Nadia.
2Q 6:39 Nadia & Prechtel double Hebard in the lane. No one within 20' of Sabally at the top of the key. She makes the 3ptr.
3Q 7:15 In one-on-one defense, Nadia is on Sabally, who hands off to Ionescu. Nadia leaves Sabally to hedge toward Ionescu (who is guarded by a Hull). Sabally drifts over to the other side and Ionescu feeds her. Nadia only gets close enough to wave at her face. 3pts
3Q 6:15 Nadia again on Sabally with the ball. Ionescu passes by. Nadia apparently expects the ball to go to Ionescu and waits where she is. Sabally just curls with the ball to the middle of the lane before Dodson picks her up. The floater misses.
3Q 5:23 Nadia is replaced by Jerome. Stanford in a zone. Kiana loses Sabally when Ionescu has the ball. She passes out to Sabally on the 3pt line. Kiana can't recover in time. 3Pt.
3Q 4:16 Jerome on Sabally, out at the top of the key as Boley throws up a 3 that misses. Jerome looks like she wants to block out Sabally but she is ineffective at it. Sabally gets the OR and throws up a miss. Jerome tips the ball out but her left (not right!) upper arm catches Sabally in the nose.
3Q 3:57 Sabally gets the ball at the 3pt line and dribbles through Lexie (who seemingly is in a good position throughout). Nadia comes in to help too late. Layup.
