The session tonight (Wednesday) involves only a couple of relays, and usually starts at 6:00 Pacific Time. Things get rolling tomorrow with prelims in the morning and finals starting at 6:00, I believe.
Tons of coverage for all things swimming at Swimswam.com -- for this week's women's Pac-12, next week's men's meet, and nationals three weeks following each. The women's NCAA meet should be very interesting, pitting Stanford's depth against Cal's high-scoring stars, with up-and-comer Virginia also in the mix. This will be Cal's last hurrah, at least for a while, as Stanford and Virginia have been out-recruiting Cal recently. If Stanford can win this year without the major stars from years past, and stretch a three-year streak to four, they expect to have massive reinforcements coming next year in Regan Smith (world records holder as a high school student), Taylor Ruck (Canadian Olympian who swam last year as a frosh at Stanford and took the year off to focus on the Olympics), and Lillie Nordmann, who recently had great swims at the Texas HS championships (and whose slightly less renowned older sister swims at Stanford).
For those interested, Lillie Nordmann's two swims can be found here:
