Of course, this and a lot of reactions assume that Covid-19 is a one-off. I'm almost certain that it won't be, given the speed of human travel and the growing petri dish of warmer climates, and hope we can learn from the experience.

I read one article that said spring sports are getting an extra year, but I doubt winter sports will since almost all completed their regular seasons and are (sadly) just missing out on postseason. I don't necessarily like it but I can understand where they're coming from.
The one I'm not as sure about are all-year sports like golf. Most teams played about 1/2 to 2/3 of their regular season.
Now I'm kinda glad for Andrea Lee & Albane Valenzuela that they left and went to the LPGA. Wow this would have been horrible for them if they'd stayed
