Do we know for sure she's definitely gone? Some players enter the transfer portal to investigate potential options and also as a failsafe in case they can't return. It's possible she's still waiting to hear about admission to a graduate program, or to see what happens with Wilson, but wants to keep her options open. For example, last spring Mikiah Herbert Harrigan entered the portal and then decided to remain at South Carolina; she was South Carolina's leading scorer this past season.

So until we get an actual word from Carrington herself, I wouldn't necessarily assume with 100% certainty she is leaving just yet...

Thank you Stanford for an eventful 4 years. Thank you for helping me grow into the woman I am today. Thank you for leading me to some of my best friends and future bridesmaids/ bridesmen. Thank you to all the teammates I’ve had here over these past 4 years- we are brothers for life. Thank you to my friends who kept me sane when b-ball was taken away from me this year. Thank you to all my professors, TAs, coaches, and fans! Thank you to my family for all the sacrifices and last minute visits. I’m not the best at showing my emotions, or verbalizing them for that matter, but I wouldn’t have made it through this last year without all of y’all in these photos (+my fam and friends at home). I Love You All❤️

And if this is the end, thank YOU DiJonai. Definitely one of my favorites to watch in the past few years - she never gave anything less than 100% on the hardwood.
