Agreed; the lure of a free graduate degree is real, especially for someone who isn't going to play professionally. But I just want to push back that getting into a Stanford graduate school is necessary for playing a fifth year at Stanford. Plus, I'm guessing that DiJonai will be able to be drafted into the WNBA.

No, I am saying Stanford doesn't have a rule that says you need to be enrolled in graduate school to delay your graduation after 4 years. There are a couple things that you have to do. For example, I think if you take more than 12 quarters, you have to submit an academic plan just to show that you are not going to stay indefinitely. In addition, housing is only guaranteed for four years so you might have to live off campus. For regular students, financial aid might be limited to 12 quarters unless students can show personal or academic circumstances necessitating longer aid.
