I do think people underestimate the degree to which the fifth-year option is less viable and/or available for many Stanford student athletes. For example, Marta Sniezek lists on her linkedin page that her grad degree is a Master's in Non-Profit Management at the Business School. Not only does no such degree exist at Stanford, but as 81 noted, the MBA is insanely competitive to get into, especially straight out of undergrad. And for players who get injured their senior year like Carrington and Sniezek, I don't know that it's overly easy to obtain a fifth-year of undergrad if they were on track to graduate. Unless I'm wrong, I thought the only way you could get a fifth year was if there was an academic need. I guess it's possible you could take on a second major, but otherwise I have to imagine Carrington was so far along the path to graduation by January of her senior year that that route wouldn't be feasible.
Now, apparently Anna Wilson is an Art Practice major. Any idea what grad degree at Stanford would further that field of study?
Stanford has an excellent grad program in art, not just theory and art history. Anna could easily find an art grad program that would work for her.
