BTW, was it Jamie Carrey who was DQed from Stanford hoops due to concussions, but then went on to play for Texas (and then in WNBA)?

Yes, definitely Jamie Carey, went on to play at Texas after several years of Stanford docs not clearing her.

There used to be a story online with interview comments from Jamie Carey about how she continued to have post-concussion symptoms at Texas and even in the WNBA. So I don't think anyone can say the Stanford doctors were wrong not to clear her. But we can surely respect her choice to take the risk of playing anyway.
