*I read somewhere that a big problem with Chinese studies was that nearly everyone takes traditional Chinese medicine when they get sick, and Gilead insisted that the patients in the study not have taken any other drugs that could interfere with results.
I saw chatter that the Chinese may have ended the studies early because they were doing so well and they didn't want Gilead to corner the market. I have no idea whether I should give any weight to such a claim.
