Ironically, his injury also occurred vs Arizona, late in the '84 season. The injury was so bad that his younger brother, a DL, was crying on the field after observing the severity of it. Dave missed the entire '85 season but came back stronger than ever in '86 and was ultimately a 2nd Rd. pick by the Seahawks. Played 9 years in the NFL.
