As wbb mentions, Nneka got great elevation on the interception of an outlet pass in the first half, so my worries about her ankle continuing to bother her have been somewhat alleviated. But anecdotally, I think her jumpshot hasn't been real solid, either as a set shot or a step back, in a few games, and in the first half, she settles for it a little too readily. In the second half, her finishes were at the hoop, as were Chiney's. I think as teams start to tire they start to give up a bit more in terms of inside position to the relentlessness of the Ogwumikes.
Glenn, by the time of Missy's call, I was calmer, given the time and game situation. If that had happened earlier, apoplexy would have been a distinct possibility. As it was, I could laugh it off.
Now trying to remember how much work our offense needs against a zone while watching our men's team have, well, no offensive plan whatsoever in leading the Toejams 20-18 at halftime. I shoulda known I would feel like this when Jarrett Mann started alongside Randle in the backcourt.
