Just noticed one other thing: Gonzaga has a nice little thing going. They get a subregional in Spokane on their homecourt, and then, because they aren't the official hosts (WSU, which makes a lot of sense given Pullman is about as far from Spokane as Storrs is from Bridgeport), would also be eligible to play in the Spokane regional. So over a three year span, they'll have a subregional all three years and a regional two years out of three. That is if they qualify.
Not that Spokane isn't a nice city, and they do support the event. But that's a pretty brobdingnagian advantage for a team that's only come close to a top-4 seeding once.
