New York set up field hospitals in Central Park. The state should have realized that it needed to prepare for what to do with patients when they no longer needed to be hospitalized but still couldn't go home. Yes, the logistics of having COVID-only SNF's were insane, but sending patients recovering from COVID-19 to nursing homes with non-COVID patients was more insane.
