Alamar?!?!?!?!
That name is as bad for California fans as Walt Harris or Ted's Buddy around these parts.Â
I would be SHOCKED if David Shaw brought that guy in. Alamar:
-Ruined kickers all the time, causing two career ending injuries
-Couldn't figure out a way to get DeSean Jackson to return a punt after the first game of his Junior year
-Just assumed his kicker knew how to do an onside kick (it was never practiced) and sent him out to do one of the worst one ever
-Oversaw atrocious kick and punt return defense
And look at his 2011 performance at Fresno:
Punt return defense: 104th
Kick return defense: 112th
No way Shaw hires a loser like Alamar. If he does, I would be worried.
