Yes, Fox News is a problem. I felt in the 1990s it should have been regulated because I could see it becoming dangerous. A credible argument can't be made that if it or something like it didn't exist, we wouldn't be facing the calamity we are now. This doesn't mean there isn't a place for what people might call conservative ideas, but making shit up from whole cloth without any effort to do real journalism and being totally unmoored by facts, leads to a culture of distrust and division. It's not sustainable.
If you need to bury your head in the sand and think that woman in Target video is some sort of anomaly, or not a symptom of a much larger disease, to sleep better at night, go right ahead. Just know that isn't going to make it go away.
