Young doesn't quite remind me of any RB I've ever seen, off the top of my head. Most guys when they run have the same stride all the time. Young has a burst, with short, choppy steps as he gets going and maneuvers through traffic, but when he hits open field he seems to switch to a longer stride. This suggests he has quick feet and an efficient stride to gain ground.Â
Not too many clips of him catching the ball in this video, but there are a couple. Given he is a bigger/stronger guy than DeAnthony Thomas, it seems there might be another player that would be a better analog. I'm quite intrigued to see what Young can do.
