All I have is the experience of 3 kids (in a pretty good school district, btw) . . . and conversations with numerous parents who relayed their own experiences in the Bay Area (and other parts of hte country). But no, I do not have "data" on how well kids were educated at the tail end of the '19-'20 school year - in "rural areas, poor areas, upscale areas" - especially in comparison to how they were educated before "distance learning." But even without that data, I feel very comfortable and confident in my belief that "distance learning" is a poor substitute for in-person instruction.
But hey, if you want to believe distance learning is at least as good (or better), be my guest. I'm sure you have all kinds of data to support that position.
