Recruiting exposure in the south and Texas is key. Stanford has recently had a lot of contributing players from Texas (QB, FS, RB, OL, LB), and that pipeline needs to stay open. Plus, you get Texas when they're down...but I suspect Texas's schedule may already be filled for the next decade.
