And btw, San Antone is still the best Stanford sports roadie of my lifetime.  The Final Four - especially at that locale - cannot be topped (though Orange Bowl in South Beach was pretty sweet, as is Pasadena on New Year's Day).

teejers - That season and the Final Four in San Antonio was one I'll never forget. I used miles that got us to Dallas and then drove all the way to San Antonio for the Final Four and back. Was so bummed on the Kentucky game. We could have won and always thought if Ryan Mendez was given the shot we would have.

Loved Weems as a player, but he shot something like 6-23 in the game against Kentucky . . .
