Several great insights in your analysis (per usual), VG. The only point I'd add is that ISU looked terrible in their half-court offense early in the game. Lots of poor passing, IMHO, and they would have been down by a lot if they weren't hitting so many 3s. Unfortunately, they cleaned it up considerably (undoubtedly contributing to their 2nd half run, in which they went from down-seven to up-by-eleven). Perhaps that explains why we stuck with the switching defense as long as we did (too long, in hindsight)? Overall, I thought Dawkins did an excellent job last night... particularly after he (finally!) conceded that Mann and Zimmerman were not our best options.
P.S. I've gotta figure out how find ESPN's Top 10 plays from last night online... if Bright's fake no-look-pass layup didn't make the list, it's a travesty!
