Look, it takes all of about 15 minutes watching QBs take game snaps to figure out which one is better.  Mills is better.  Mills will also be limited by Shaw's mediocre offensive mind, but his upside is higher.

Man that's good to know! I guess all those NFL folks are getting paid the big bucks to do what can be done in 15 minutes. Who knew?

Teejers may be exaggerating a tad.  But he’s right that Mills is significantly more talented.  Better release, better feet, better arm, much more accurate.  Now whether that translates on the field is a function, in part of health and the talent around him. Particularly the offensive line.

I bet Mills is "significantly more talented" than Joe Montana too. Lots of "betters". However, how that translates to the field is often a function of things that are harder to measure. Some guys have it, others do not. Some guys are "lucky" a lot. The system does matter, and the supporting cast does matter, but I submit that figuring out who is actually going to be a successful QB, college or NFL, is not easy. If it were, there wouldn't be so many "misses", or so may QB controversies.
