Staying healthy is the question.I think "intangibles" is a bit of a trap word. Some QBs throw a really sweet spiral a long way in practice but in a game they just don't make it happen. It isn't really intangible, but it is often inexplicable. For some guys it is certainly mental and they freeze up in a real game. Other guys don't freeze up, but they just seem to throw a bit late or to the wrong guy or the wrong side of the right guy. Some other guys play "mediocre" in practice and are beasts in a game, making throws they can't/don't make in practice. History is replete with people who had a cannon of an arm, understood the game, but just didn't get it done. So the results are tangible, but the reasons often are unclear. It just happens.
