Ok.  Agree.  Circumstances matter etc.  But I’ll take my chances with the more talented guy almost every time.  The almost being if the  other guy has massively better intangibles. There is no reason to believe Mills doesn’t have “it”.  Staying healthy is the question.

I think "intangibles" is a bit of a trap word. Some QBs throw a really sweet spiral a long way in practice but in a game they just don't make it happen. It isn't really intangible, but it is often inexplicable. For some guys it is certainly mental and they freeze up in a real game. Other guys don't freeze up, but they just seem to throw a bit late or to the wrong guy or the wrong side of the right guy. Some other guys play "mediocre" in practice and are beasts in a game, making throws they can't/don't make in practice. History is replete with people who had a cannon of an arm, understood the game, but just didn't get it done. So the results are tangible, but the reasons often are unclear. It just happens.
