Getting back to the Costello/Leech show, Costello's PER in four games with MSU is 120.5, which is actually lower than last year's rating (and that includes one phenomenal game against LSU).  Since that game, his October PER is 99.6.

I hope he can bounce back.

He won't have the time behind whatever they call that offensive line. Offensive indeed.

Also, their stud RB is remaining out to prepare for the draft rather than return after a small injury. They also had 3(?) new portal entrants this morning. Obviously Leach needs to get his people in and rebuild the team in his image, but the related amount of attrition never looks pretty.
