I stand by my opinion of Mills, that, when healthy, he looks to be the most talented since Luck.
He is not as good as Hogan during Hogan’s final year, when Hogan had mastered the Stanford offense.
But you may recall that even that year, Hogan would still sometimes mysteriously throw the ball into the dirt, and when you do that a handful of times during a game on third down, it is frustrating. Hogan was a heroic leader, a master of the offense, who also could win a game with his feet (that Washington State game). But his arm was a minor liability vastly outweighed by everything else he brought.
Davis throws a really nice ball. I think he has tremendous talent. To me the questions are will he stay healthy, and will he develop his talent to become a leader in total command of the Stanford offense.
