Yeah, he was physically talented but not necessarily talented at the other football-playing aspects of his career. A lot of playing secondary is pattern-reading--that is, anticipating from the steps the receiver you're covering what kind of route he's going to be running. Not saying that was Bademosi's specific problem, but it is an example of how playing secondary is much more than being physically talented. Actually, I was surprised at how well all three starting secondary seniors tested. Hopefully they all get NFL looks.
