The NFL has it right. If you decide to play, power through everything unless there is a major team outbreak. This one case leads to quarantines that make playing games impossible or with significantly limited personnel, is silly.
It isn't perfect but I strongly believe that less of these kids are getting COVID in the disciplined environment of a college football season with frequent testing than they would if they weren't playing. That is my justification anyways for feeling that it is acceptable for the teams to be playing and following the cautious protocols that are leading to some cancellations.
