I enjoyed my class with Gurley and will always remember that he assigned a traditional neoclassical economics textbook as well as a Marxist textbook. He wanted us to be exposed to both sides. Sadly, the class was at 8am in Dink, and they turned the lights down low, and half the class snoozed. His laugh line on day one was "Welcome to Commun....Econ 101."
