I see this is what Senate Republicans think is the best use of their time as the economy/housing situation hurtles toward additional pain for millions of people.

This makes no political sense at all, since Trump (as noted) is taking some credit for the vaccine.

Maybe the idea is to expose the charade for what it is. But that does seem too subtle.
