In many of those Pacific Rim countries citizens can travel to New Zealand right now, but will have significant restrictions on travelling to the USA for months. If that persists for another ~6 months New Zealand will enjoy a meaningful surge in tourism as funds that would normally be spent on USA tourism will get diverted to other nations.
