Dorrell gets the blame for not considering what effect her actions might have on the rest of women working in male-dominated sports...but my guess is that Dorrell wasn't considering very much in the way of long-term consequences in the first place. Harder's article wasn't really concerned with the fact that Dorrell displaced her candidacy but with the fact that this case is now having a chilling effect on all potential women hires in male-dominated coaching staffs.
