It feels a bit misplaced.  Most people who get jobs really aren't the absolutely most qualified.  Many people who get jobs get them because they have an "in".  People who improperly give and accept jobs to peole they are romantically attached or attracted to always they they can keep the relatinship quiet or get out of it quietly. 

Mostly, people don't base their hiring decisions on one-off issues like this.

All that being said, I doubt a smart, attractive, athletic woman like Harder is going to be seriously disadvantaged in her job searches in the future.
